Family Committee

Do you enjoy connecting people and guide groups of people to build and grow together? Do the words community building and matchmaking spark a light in you? Then we’re looking for you! The Family committee forms the heart of FAM and is all about forming connections and creating a community for our members.  This means you will be matching people from diverse backgrounds (culturally, educationally, etc.)  and building ‘families’, which are groups of students that are matched based on common interests.  Moreover, you will be managing to guide these families and stimulate their bond by organizing occasional events (Family members exclusive)  and providing them with the guide to start their connection through activities that each family will be able to do on their own with the funds provided by FAM.  The rationale behind the Family committee is thus ultimately to connect people together.

Estimated work load per week: 3 hours (4-6 hours for head)

Specific job duties

• Coordinate and oversee  the ‘families’ 
• Matching groups of students 
• Organizing 1-3 events 
• Work on optimizing the matching system
• Contacting the families on regular basis
• Attending monthly FAM meetings 

Requirements

• Affinity for Diversity and Inclusion
• You must be available for the whole academic school year 22-23
• Estimated workload per week: 3 hours (4-6 Head)
