The audit committee is responsible for checking the financial statements of the association! Think of things like going over the books, annual report or financial policy. At the end of every year, we’ll bring out a report on last year that tells the members how the board did financially. We work in independently of the board, this way the members of FAM can get an unbiased view.

I am one of the Founders of FAM. My parents were not able to attend University due to economical reasons, so I had nobody in my circle who could really tell me about how to cope with University in terms of knowing how to study and knowing the importance of extracurricular activities 📚💼👨💼. Luckily, I met other senior first-generation students who had experienced the same struggle and who shared their trips & tricks with me on how to navigate through University 🚗. Together, we supported each other and they became my academic family at University 👨👩👧👦! This is where my inspiration of FAM came from: to build a community of support & to make everybody feel at home at University so we could all make the best of our academic careers! 👨👩👧👦🏡
